UPDATE 1/6/2024 I'm already making headway developing this passion project. I have the premise and setting and am creating a very rough outline to follow for the progression of the story. It will have a set amount of chapters and once those wrap up, that arch is over. This first progression will act more to introduce the world through the story rather than offering you a sandbox world where everything is established and creating plots as we go along. I don't know if that makes sense, hopefully it does. Will anybody like it? I have no idea. Will it be fun? I think so if you like this sort of thing! The gameplay will be a combination of D&D elements and longform rp, but I'm thinking of ways I can easily include script style rp as well!. Using rolls to decide on your character and aspects of them/strengths and weaknesses and using rolls to loosely decide story progression.
